Description
ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for Director of Information Technology to work at the Raising Cane's River Center. The position is in Baton Rouge, LA.
This IT Director position is a great opportunity to use both management and technical knowledge to direct both the day-to-day needs and be a technical expert for our event clients using our facility.
This includes facility computer equipment, audio systems, lighting systems, staging systems, and event-based video and lighting systems.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Identify technology needs and opportunities to make recommendations to our leadership team.
+ Participate in strategic discussions and the day-to-day concerns and event performance to ensure obtainment of business objectives.
+ Manage the IT support technicians, vendors relationships, and service agreements.
+ Evaluate the companys adherence to federal technology requirements for security.
+ Develop and direct maintain effective facility level IT policies, procedures, and programs.
+ Develop an effective process for controlling inventory of all telecommunications, internet, and computer equipment.
+ Develop and provide budget direction for the department and individually hosted events.
+ Maintain compliance requirements and updates for software programs.
+ Maintain all ancillary facility equipment and contracts, including office equipment and telephone systems.
+ In accordance with corporate initiates, lead the implementation or company-wide technology initiatives.
+ Work with event management and operations to provide solutions to the various needs of our event clients.
+ Maintains all technological related programs that include digital signage equipment on interior and exterior of facility
+ Direct the installation of event related technology, that includes audio, lighting, video and rigging equipment specified
+ All other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Physical requirements include:
feel and reach with hands and arms, substantial walking, and stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
