- Work closely with Controller/CFO and Accounting Manager in all aspects of AR/AP
- Responsible for invoicing customers with variety of invoice requirements
- Match purchase order with vendor invoices to assure accuracy and prepare for ERP entry on daily basis
- Entering Payables
- Communicate with warehouse manager to confirm product receipt and delivery
- Setting up new vendors
- Following up on freight bills from vendors
- Research and resolve AP and AR discrepancies promptly
- Issue and post debit/credit entries to customer accounts
- Maintain accurate customer/vendor information in database according to company procedures
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries via telephone applying knowledge of company policies, procedures and pricing to best meet customer needs
- Responsible for weekly AR outreach
- Assisting with answering dept phone calls
- In depth understanding of COGS
- Running income statement by class
- Weekly/monthly filing of hard copies
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
- Solid understanding and application of accounting principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Planning skills along with professionalism
- Basic/Intermediate knowledge of excel
- Experience with ERP system
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- 3+ yrs experience with invoicing/billing
- 1-2 yrs experience with ERP systems
