    Requirements:
    5+ years of experience in the human resource space.
    Experience leading a team.
    Experience supporting multiple locations.


    Summary of Position:


    The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources, ensuring the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

    The HR manager will handle talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, payroll, and strategic HR initiatives. This person will lead a team of two, collaborate in conjunction with other managers, and support multiple sites.


    Position Description:
    Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health, and safety, etc.
    Support company growth objectives while enhancing the culture of Customer Service, Integrity, Communication, and Teamwork.
    Support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training, and development, etc.
    Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and programs.
    Supervise the work of HR/Payroll personnel and provide guidance.
    Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions.
    Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
    Handle grievances and violations and assess disciplinary action when required.
    Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.

    Establish credibility with the senior management team to serve as a trusted advisor and resource on all organizational development and HR matters.

    Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
    Oversee recruitment, selection, and the onboarding process.
    Develop a talent pipeline that places emphasis on creating future leadership depth in anticipation of growth needs.
    Oversee benefits administration including open enrollment, benefit billing reconciliations and fielding employee questions.
    Oversee weekly payroll processing and review.
    Manage unemployment claims.
    Manage all workman's comp policies and claims.


    Required Skills & Abilities:
    Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager for a multi-location, multi-state business.
    Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.

    Has exhibited the ability to develop and implement consistent human resources systems and processes to enhance the growth of an organization.

    A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
    Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    Diligent and firm, with high ethical standards.
    Willingness to travel to various office locations.
    Experienced working relationship with unions, union personnel and employee representatives.
    BS/BA in human resources, business administration, or relevant field.
    Minimum 6-8 years of directly related experience in managing human resources and payroll.
