    Description

    Summary: Support professional caregivers in patient care, equipment handling, room setup, clerical tasks, transcription, and unit desk maintenance.

    Responsibilities:
    - Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures, equipment procurement, and care documentation.
    - Perform clerical tasks, prioritize workload, greet visitors, transcribe orders, maintain records, and provide administrative support.
    - Offer clinical assistance, maintain work area cleanliness, handle office equipment, restock supplies, assist with patient care activities.
    - Provide direct patient care, record vital signs, conduct measurements, assist with daily activities, and support patient education.
    - Reinforce patient education, distribute materials, and document patient understanding of instructions.

    Education Requirements:
    ● High School diploma or GED
    Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    ● Listed as Nurse Aide I Registry with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
    ● Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    ● One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience.
    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
    ● Must be fluent in verbal and written English language. Proficiency in computer skills required.
