- Responsible for order taking, scheduling, dispatching and customer service
- Properly schedules and dispatches orders into the system
- Experience with cold call sales and inside sales
- Maintain and grow current knowledge of local competitive markets, knowledge in ready mix concrete, concrete construction, and concrete related products and services
- Strong sales abilities to acquire new customers and grow Mack's market shares in Northern Ohio
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes and shift time changes
- Assist in other areas as needed
- Associates degree or greater in Business Management, Construction Management or related field
- Experience as a Ready-Mix Dispatcher preferred
- Construction site safety including concrete material handling and basic equipment maintenance a plus
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills required
- Basic business skills/knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently
- Knowledge of concrete specifications and building codes a plus
- Construction environment, seasonal weather conditions
- Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust and dirt can be high.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, on occasion
- This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
