Description
Assistant DispatcherResponsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers engaged in delivering ready mixed concrete.
- Professionally handle busy phone orders, coordinate the schedule with customers and assure customer satisfaction while optimizing efficiency and profitability.
- Quote pricing and charges for cash orders and arrange for payment according to company policy for COD orders.
- Maintain radio contact with drivers throughout the day, coordinate delivery and recording status of trucks and relay time of statuses to drivers by utilizing truck tracking.
- Instruct drivers with directions and any information required for job sites and routes for delivery, next delivery, and when to time out.

- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service, Scheduling
Pay:
$ $27.50 per hour
Experience:
- Dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
