Description

The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for Instrument Support Specialist (FACS) near Boston, MA 02120

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on FACS equipment, including timely start-up/shutdown and QC/QA procedures following SOPs.
Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues with FACS equipment.
Manage inventory of basic supplies and coordinate service visits by technicians.
Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and operation of cytometers and sorters.
Respond promptly to queries and communications from flow labs to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Familiarize oneself with all software used in the facility.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Degree with 0-2 years of experience in a scientific or lab environment, OR
High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in a scientific or lab environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degree in a scientific field.
Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience with flow cytometry systems.

Additional Details:

Onsite position
Position type: 12 months contract opportunity
Pay rate: $28-$30/hr depending on experience
