Lightweight Concrete Foreman

General Description:
As a Lightweight Concrete Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage.
Duties:
Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner to eliminate accidents and adhere to job budgets.
Overseeing concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing activities.
Identifying concrete mixes and determining the necessary equipment and procedures to achieve desired finish and performance results.
Dividing projects into stages, assessing labor and material requirements for each stage, and communicating equipment and manpower needs to meet schedules and deadlines.
Resolving any problems that may impact project quality and completion.Verifying inventory loads against shipping papers and ensuring accuracy.
Consulting blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure accurate placement and installation of concrete structures.
Cleaning equipment as needed and performing routine maintenance.
Delegating tasks to concrete laborers and providing guidance throughout the project.
Assisting in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete, as well as dismantling forms after use.
Loading, unloading, and hauling materials as required.
Maintaining accurate records of hours worked and materials used for each project.
Ensuring proper erection, support, and dismantling of formwork and shoring based on engineering designs and drawings.
Inspecting concrete post-formwork removal and instructing laborers on defect correction and concrete finishing.
Reporting any mechanical issues with vehicles and promptly notifying supervisors.
Reporting delays, accidents, or transportation issues and submitting receipts from deliveries or purchases.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in concrete construction and supervision.
Knowledge of concrete mixes, equipment, and procedures.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering designs.
Proficient in equipment operation and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
Must have the balance and dexterity to maneuver around a construction site and must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be drug and alcohol free.Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout complete shift.
Positive attitude and team player
Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
Ability to withstand different climates (extreme heat and other weather).

Como capataz de hormigón ligero, desempeñará un papel fundamental en la supervisión de todos los aspectos de los proyectos de construcción de hormigón, garantizando la seguridad, la eficiencia y la calidad en cada etapa.
Tarea:
Operar todos los equipos de manera segura y eficiente para eliminar accidentes y cumplir con los presupuestos de trabajo.
Supervisar las actividades de preparación, colocación, instalación, acabado y curado del hormigón.Identificar mezclas de concreto y determinar el equipo y los procedimientos necesarios para lograr el acabado deseado y los resultados de rendimiento.
Dividir los proyectos en etapas, evaluar los requisitos de mano de obra y materiales para cada etapa, y comunicar las necesidades de equipos y mano de obra para cumplir con los cronogramas y plazos.
Resolver cualquier problema que pueda afectar la calidad y finalización del proyecto.Verificar las cargas de inventario con los documentos de envío y garantizar la precisión.
Consultar planos, dibujos y planos para garantizar la colocación e instalación precisas de estructuras de hormigón.
Limpiar el equipo según sea necesario y realizar el mantenimiento de rutina.
Delegar tareas a obreros concretos y brindar orientación a lo largo del proyecto.
Ayudar en la construcción y posicionamiento de encofrados para verter hormigón, así como en el desmantelamiento de encofrados después de su uso.
Carga, descarga y acarreo de materiales según sea necesario.Mantener registros precisos de las horas trabajadas y los materiales utilizados para cada proyecto.
Garantizar el montaje, el soporte y el desmontaje adecuados del encofrado y el apuntalamiento en función de los diseños y planos de ingeniería.
Inspeccionar el concreto después de la remoción del encofrado e instruir a los trabajadores sobre la corrección de defectos y el acabado del concreto.
Informar cualquier problema mecánico con los vehículos y notificar de inmediato a los supervisores.Informar de retrasos, accidentes o problemas de transporte y enviar recibos de entregas o compras.
Calificaciones:
Experiencia comprobada en construcción y supervisión de hormigón.
Conocimiento de mezclas, equipos y procedimientos de concreto.
Fuertes habilidades de liderazgo y comunicación.
Capacidad para leer planos e interpretar diseños de ingeniería.
