We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our team at 8th Wonder Brewery.

    Reports to: Production Manager

    Job Overview: As a Second Shift Packaging Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high production demands of beverages. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the team during the second shift.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Effectively communicate daily with the Production Manager to meet business needs for the shift.
    • Hold the second shift team accountable for achieving daily and weekly KPIs while ensuring compliance with all SOPs.
    • Perform daily maintenance on packaging machines.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
    • Work on canning line packing out cases.
    • Conduct quality control checks on packaged beverages during production.
    • Set up for canning runs, build packaging materials, palletize cans, and shrink-wrap when necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in leading a team of 5 or more employees.
    • Background in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing is a plus.
    • Previous work on a production line handling pack out, bottling, canning, etc.
    • Proficient in operating industrial equipment like forklifts, canning lines, and keg washers.
    • Experience in machinery maintenance and ability to work with tech support and manuals.
    • Familiarity with computer systems such as Odoo, Microsoft software, and Excel.
    • Aptitude for keeping a team on track, hitting KPIs, and problem-solving independently.
    • Clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Capability to work rotating shifts and adjust schedules as needed.
    • Ability to lift 50lbs or more, and comfortable in a warehouse setting.
