    The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Distribution plays a crucial role in steering and guiding a team of sales representatives to meet sales targets in a fiercely competitive market. You will be leading strategic initiatives to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the non-acute segments. Collaborating with authorized distributors and their sales teams in the region will be key to your success.

    As the new RSM for Distribution, your mission is to lead sales teams in various campaigns within the non-acute sector of your region. You will also actively contribute to larger strategic endeavors, including partnerships with corporate and national accounts, alongside sales executives and managers.

    This role is part of the North American Commercial Organization and offers full remote flexibility. You will join the Distribution Sales Team reporting to the National Distribution Sales Director. At Beckman Coulter, innovation in healthcare is our driving force, one diagnosis at a time.

    What you'll get to do in this role:

    • Initiate core growth strategies for the sales region, outlining regional objectives, and ensuring team accountability
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners, driving business growth and collaborating on distribution strategies
    • Accurately forecast sales for the region, utilizing SFDC as a vital management tool
    • Lead Growth War Room sessions and implement corrective actions for performance metrics, providing feedback post-session
    • Guide the team in account strategy development and execution, offering support and removing obstacles
    • Provide expertise on pricing strategy, approving proposals and deal structures
    • Recruit, coach, and develop sales representatives, fostering a motivated team environment

    The key requirements for this role are:

    • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of clinical sales experience, preferably in the diagnostics field and through distribution channels; MBA is a plus
    • Demonstrated competitive spirit, customer focus, and a track record of sales growth
    • Willingness to travel approximately 60%, including overnight stays
    • Proven ability to attract, engage, and develop talent, building strong relationships and driving results
    • Strong negotiation skills to support team and secure profitable deals

    Previous experience in leading teams is highly desirable

    This position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $150,000, with additional bonus and incentive pay opportunities. Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) benefits are available for eligible employees.
