Job Description and Duties
Under the supervision of the Correctional Health Services Administrator I (CHSA I), the Office Services Supervisor II will be responsible for the work flow, data management and processing of Mental Health Scheduling. The incumbent collects and maintains the quality assurance records and quality control of information processing, and discipline in assigned clerical functions of the Mental Health program operation. Will provide supervision and training for clerical employees; assists in selection and evaluation of clerical staff; recommends actions; responds to grievances and rates performances. The Office Services Supervisor II will also maintain various logs, routing and assigning work appropriately and is responsible to the Mental Health Subcommittee as the designated recorder for this committee as defined by Health Care Services Division.
minimum qualifications:
Either I
One year of experience in California state service performing duties of a class with a level of responsibility equivalent to Office Technician.
Or II
Three years of clerical experience, at least one year of which shall have been in a responsible position performing a variety of difficult clerical work or supervising the work of a small group of employees. (Experience in the California state service applied toward the specialized one-year requirement must be performing duties of a class with a level of responsibility equivalent to Office Technician.)
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
