    Job Description

    The Senior Account Management professional is responsible for providing organized, efficient, and profitable implementation of new business or process improvements for existing business. These positions will include working directly with clients to develop and maintain long term relationships, while focusing on growth and expansion of services. The position will also require working closely with the Accounting, IT, and Operations departments for New Business, In Force Administration and Claims Services.

    1. Directs and proactively manages an assigned client base in order to promote positive long-term client relationships and execute the installation of new clients.
    2. Makes frequent follow-up calls to insurance company clients to answer any questions and ensure everything is running smoothly.
    3. Manages daily, weekly and/or monthly reports required by clients including thecoordination, development and facilitation of reports required by the clients.
    4. Works with senior team members to develop and maintain business requirements for new or existing clients.
    5. Coordinates and prepares pricing and contract updates as well as the development and management of projects or department timelines as needed.
    6. Works with client(s) in budget development, strategic and tactical planning and goal setting.
    7. Provides new account and business implementation including:
    8. Communicates with insurance companies and internal departments to help facilitate smooth workflow, while developing relationships with clients.
    9. Works closely with internal departments to develop joint efforts to ensure communication and execution of all account and business initiatives are performed.
    10. Prepares documents as a part of establishing Service agreements with clients and potential clients including investigating and resolving issues within the respective accounts and serving as point for interface with identified client groups.
    11. New account and business implementation including:

      1. Communicates with insurance companies and internal departments to help facilitate smooth workflow, while developing relationships with clients.
      2. Works closely with internal departments to develop joint efforts to ensure communication and execution of all account and business initiatives.
    12. Account management

      1. Directs and proactively manages an assigned client base in order to promote positive, long-term client relationships.
      2. Supports and executes the installation of new clients.
      3. Conducts regular meetings to communicate business updates with both internal and external customers.
      4. Responsible for the coordination, development and facilitation of daily, weekly and/or monthly reports required by clients.
    13. Manages project and department timelines.
    14. Responsible for preparation and coordination required for pricing and contract updates.
    15. Works with client(s) for strategic and tactical planning and goal setting, for budget development.
    16. Stay informed on all aspects of the operation related to assigned client(s)
    17. Maintain strong relationships with the operations managers and departments including senior management.
    18. Acts as client advocate as well as supporter of what is in the best interest of the enterprise.
    19. Works to ensure company is profitable.
    20. Understands the department charter and carries this out in day-to-day interactions.
    21. Negotiates service agreements with clients and potential clients
    22. Conducts strategic business meetings with necessary departments and/or clients

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum of BA/BS degree with 10 + years' experience.

    Life insurance and Annuity experiencerequired

    Experience working with large client accounts required

    Preferred Qualifications

    Ability to travel up to at least 25% of the time.

    Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.

    Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.

    Ability to analyze processes and implement innovative ways to improve efficiencies.

    Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet established deadlines
