    We are a leading manufacturer partner and supplier of multiple products for flooring with a strong presence in the Trade industry and Online Retail industry. Our high-quality products have gained excellent recognition among consumers. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team and focus on selling our products to big box stores such as Home Depot, Lowe's, and Floor & Decor.

    Responsibilities

    As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategies specifically tailored to big box stores in the home improvement sector. You will work closely with these stores to promote and sell our products effectively. Key responsibilities include:

    Building and Managing Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within big box stores, including buyers and category managers. Conduct regular meetings, product presentations, and negotiations to achieve sales targets.

    Identifying New Opportunities: Continuously research the market to identify potential business opportunities and new product placement in big box stores. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market demands to effectively position our products within this retail environment.

    Collaborating with Manufacturers: Utilize your prior experience working closely with manufacturers to coordinate and streamline the production and supply chain processes. Act as a liaison between the manufacturers and big box stores to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and adherence to store requirements.

    Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future sales and stock requirements. Prepare detailed sales reports, including product performance, market insights, and competitor analysis, to provide actionable recommendations to management.

    Promoting Brand Awareness: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and develop new business opportunities. Represent the company professionally, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and value propositions to potential customers.

    Qualifications

    To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

    Prior Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in a B2B environment, with a focus on selling to big box stores in the home improvement sector.

    Strong Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful client relationships. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are essential.

    Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of big box store operations, buying processes, and category management within the home improvement sector. Familiarity with specific products and services offered by Home Depot, Lowe's, Floor & Decor, and comparable retailers is preferred.

    Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience working closely with manufacturers to coordinate product development, production, and the supply chain. Understanding manufacturing timelines, quality control, and logistics is highly desirable.

    Results-Oriented: A self-motivated and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven, and competitive sales environment.

    Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools is a plus.

    Willingness to Travel: This role may require frequent travel to meet with clients and attend industry events. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel on short notice is necessary.
