We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our off-site 20,000 sq ft facility in Columbia, MD.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, including inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize inbound and outbound shipments.
- Utilize Fishblow Inventory Management software to track inventory levels and streamline processes.
- Drive company box truck to transport goods as needed (CDL not required).
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions autonomously.
- Familiarity with Fishblow Inventory Management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT card.
- Ability to lift 50plus pounds safely and operate a forklift.
- Flexible availability to work from 8 am to 4 pm, with potential fluctuations based on delivery schedules.
