    **Description**

    **Agency Wide Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Supports the mission, vision and values of The Children's Village and complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.

    Supports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies.

    ****Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities****

    Adheres to all Agency and departmental Safety Procedures including reporting any unsafe practices, equipment and environment, and takes an active role in correcting the unsafe practice, equipment or environment through proper notification.

    Perform basic math calculations and make adjustments if necessary to invoices/requests for payment.

    Maintain accurate cash draw

    Travel to Harlem and the Bronx to provide checks, cash and MetroCards

    Receive and verify requests for payments

    Prepare invoice batches, enter invoices for payment and process checks for disbursement.

    Prepare bank deposits

    Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures

    Support Accounting Department with administrative and clerical tasks including scanning and filing all documents including payables.

    Manage petty cash.

    Perform other related duties and responsibilities

    ****Position Qualifications****

    HSD/GED required. Interest in the field. Adept with numbers. Excellent organizational and filing abilities required.

    Previous experience in a retail store or as a cashier

    Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately

    Positive, helpful, attitude towards customers, with the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately

    Valid Drivers License required
