Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with acute and chronic wounds.

You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent complications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and overall health status.
Develop and implement evidence-based wound care treatment plans.
Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Stay current on new trends and developments in wound care practice.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license in the state of practice.
Certification in wound care preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on wound care.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
