    Description

    Project Manager

    Jasmine Engineering has an immediate opening for a Project Manager position.

    The firm specializes in Project Management and Construction Management. Applicants should be able to effectively manage projects, maintain and grow client base by supporting long-term relationships.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Management of projects as an Owner's Representative during Pre-Construction through warranty period services.
    • Maintain client relationships, customer satisfaction and setting stakeholder expectations.
    • Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
    • Assessment studies, design review, constructability review, and project scheduling.
    • Attend regular project/progress report meetings.
    • Coordinate Requests for Information (RFI).
    • Change Orders, Pay Applications, Site Inspections, Submittal & Shop Drawings Review, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and Project Closeout.
    • Monitor projects for potential disruption of the schedule, cost increase, and maintaining scope.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • At least 5 years of experience
    • Ability to achieve necessary technical execution of Owner's project requirements.
    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Background in Architecture or Engineering a plus.
    • LEED Accreditation a plus

    SKILLS:

    • Proven project leadership and professional demeanor.
    • Excellent organizational skills to manage deadlines to meet tight deadlines and strict schedules.
    • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
    • Experience with Scheduling software such as Microsoft Project,
    • Good communication skills (written & verbal) in order to communicate complex information and technical details and ensure that all members of the team are aware of deadlines.
    • Problem-Solving Abilities to handle unexpected issues and hold-ups and solve any challenges that arise over the course of a build.

    Note: This position does not require the applicant to be a registered Architect or Engineer in the State of Texas.'

    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

    · Some travel required.

    · Must be able to climb ladders.

    · Must be able to carry bulky objects up to 25 lbs.
