- Assist in managing daily production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination to meet production targets.
- Ensure product quality meets or exceeds company standards by implementing quality control measures and conducting regular inspections.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high-performing team.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the production department.
- Monitor inventory levels, track production metrics, and collaborate with teams to optimize inventory turnover.
- Uphold safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees, actively promoting a culture of safety.
- Work closely with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, performance metrics, and KPIs to assess production efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing management, or business administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metals industry or similar.
- Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing maintenance programs and strategies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
