- Preparing proteins, seafood items, and related recipes
- Proper and hygienic handling of proteins and seafood
- Ensuring correct storage and maintenance of all proteins and seafood
- Following directions from the Chef Team
- Maintaining health and safety standards in food preparation and storage areas
- Managing inventory of all in-house proteins and supplies
- Working with kitchen staff to prepare proteins and menu items efficiently
- Stocking the kitchen and setting up supplies
- Supporting prep and line cooks during service
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to produce menu items
- Keeping station clean, organized, and productive
- Rotating inventory appropriately
- Adhering to nutrition and sanitation standards
- Identifying and communicating inventory requirements to the Sous Chef
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary Arts certificate or relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Thorough understanding of restaurant practices and cooking techniques
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Effective multitasking abilities
- Team player with efficient cooperative skills
- Extensive experience in busy restaurant settings
- 3 to 5+ years of cooking experience
- Preference for Fine Dining background
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
- Commitment to service and continuous professional development
