    Description

    Company:

    FinTech Broker Dealer - Providing Algo, execution and connectivity services to over 100 buy side trading firms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor network performance.
    • Provide level 1 support for connectivity issues.
    • Assist with customer support for collocated clients.
    • Conduct fail-over and disaster recovery testing.
    • Aid in implementing network security measures.
    • Maintain network documentation and assist with new initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of network engineering experience.
    • Vendor certifications (e.g., CISCO) advantageous.
    • Understanding of networking protocols.
    • Proficiency with networking devices and cloud technology.
    • Familiarity with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto devices.
    • Experience in multicast configuration and NOC support.
    • Knowledge of network security principles.
    • Ability to create precise network diagrams.
    • Understanding of financial markets beneficial.
