- Design and implement scalable and resilient Layer 3 network architectures within the data center environment, including core, distribution, and access layers.
- Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP to ensure optimal routing and failover capabilities.
- Implement and manage VLANs, VRFs, and other network segmentation techniques to isolate and secure traffic within the data center.
- Deploy and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists (ACLs).
- Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure in AWS cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain AWS network services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, VPN, Transit Gateway, etc.
- Configure and manage network security groups, ACLs, and firewall policies to ensure secure communication within AWS environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the deployment of new applications, services, and infrastructure within the data center.
- Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure sufficient bandwidth and low latency for critical applications and services.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Monitor network health and performance using tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, and packet captures.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data center networking, and evaluate their potential impact on the existing infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing Layer 3 network infrastructures within large-scale data center environments.
- Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure in AWS cloud environments.

- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and VRFs.
- Hands-on experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is desirable.
