    Description

    Rina Avalon is hiring a Prep Cook to join our growing family Rina welcomes you with Tel Aviv beach vibes, putting a unique spin on traditional Israeli street food and hospitality traditions. Some recipes have been passed down for generations through the owner's family and were first served at the family's own falafel stand in Israel during the 1950's.     Qualifications:

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage stress
    • Food Handling and Safety knowledge
    • Knife and measuring skills; manual dexterity and speed
    • Ability to ready and follow recipes
    • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Reliable transportation
    Duties:
    • Ensure the prep station and kitchen are set up and stocked
    • Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
    • Report to the executive chef and follow instructions
    • Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
    • Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers
    • Stock inventory and supplies
    • Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
    Pay: $16-24 per hour
