Responsibilities:

  • Overall purchasing and coordination of F&B and nonfood products
  • Conducting tenders: obtaining quotes, price negotiations, creating decision templates
  • Supplier selection
  • Request and processing of product and sample shipments for food/nonfood items
  • Listing of new products and their implementation in all Meyer outlets, including corporate identity, collaboration with graphic designers and printers
  • Complaint management
  • Invoice control
  • Annual and monthly inventory creation, implementation, and evaluation for all Meyer outlets
  • Monitoring of contract agreements and renegotiation
  • Implementation of cost reduction in the areas of food costs and other expenses
  • Businessrelated special evaluations (price calculations, contribution margin calculations)
  • Responsibility for the efficient and effective handling of all work processes in purchasing & controlling

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or training in the gastronomy industry, including additional business qualifications
  • At least three years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Experience in controlling
  • Familiarity with stock control, cost control, and a "handson" approach
  • Confident appearance, negotiation skills, team spirit, and assertiveness
