    Role:

    As the People Operations Specialist, you are instrumental in developing, optimizing, and implementing people processes and programs to drive organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Your primary objective is to ensure smooth people-related operations, and drive our core values and culture forward. You also focus on overseeing day-to-day people operations responsibilities and ensuring seamless delivery of critical people-oriented processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute, Document, implement, and improve processes and programs related to the team member lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, organizational development, and offboarding.
    • Provide functional and technical support to enhance the employee experience and address any related inquiries or issues effectively.
    • Manage employee data and new hire onboarding within the HRIS and work closely with the recruiting team to ensure an exceptional employee onboarding experience.
    • Manage the HRIS, performance management system and PEO relationship from a policy, compliance, and day-to-day standpoint.
    • Foster a positive work culture, both remotely and in-person culture by managing employee relations, fostering relationships with both management and the broader team, addressing concerns, and promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
    • Oversee and develop effective performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs, provide support, and monitor their effectiveness. Extend expertise to advise portfolio companies in their training and development initiatives.
    • Recommend initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall organizational well-being, providing support and guidance to portfolio companies.
    • Serve as a role model for good communication, building relationships, and demonstrating our values.

    • Efficient and streamlined people operations processes that contribute to organizational effectiveness, fostering of culture and core values, and employee career development and satisfaction.
    • Timely and accurate handling of critical people processes, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
    • Compelling data insights that inform the leadership team of wins and opportunities for both the internal team and portfolio companies are generated and shared.
    • Roll out of pulse surveys, a new performance management system and processes to the team
    • Maintain best-in-class employee engagement and retention.
    • Maintain compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
    • Inform the CFO of risks being absorbed by the company so that the leadership team can determine the appropriate level of risk tolerance for its current growth stage.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-5 years in people operations, with at least two years in a hands-on operational capacity for an early stage / technology / or high growth company ideally.
    • Proven experience in managing and optimizing people operations processes and programs.
    • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or HRCI-SPHR are highly desirable but not required.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to effectively communicate best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands. Experience in managing People Operations functions for multiple entities is an advantage.
    • Technologically proficient in various tech stacks, including HR-related software applications.

    Salary:

    • $80,000 - $120,000 base

    Location:

    • In-person, open to relocate to Las Vegas, NV
