    Reports to: Sales Management


    Overview: Implements and supports sales strategies to gain market share within assigned sales
    territory. Meets or exceeds annual revenue targets. Contacts new and existing customers on a regular basis.


    Essential Duties:

    • Identify and assess sales opportunities with specific accounts and territories.
    • Establish longterm business relationships with customers.
    • Achieve incremental sales growth.
    • Maintain database of customer information.
    • Facilitate Account Receivable and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
    • Provide all aspects of account maintenance.
    • Answer customer calls for product information.
    • Assist customers with product availability, pricing, and order status.
    • Manage expense budget.

    Non-Essential Duties:


    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Skills and Abilities:


    • Perform all assigned duties.
    • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrate above average written and verbal communication skills needed to influence without direct authority.
    • Demonstrate organizational skills and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

    Knowledge:


    • Has a basic understanding of the oil/gas industry and mechanical aptitude.
    • At least a limited understanding of our products and services.

    Minimum Education and Certification:


    • Associate's degree in related field preferred.

    Minimum Experience:


    • Typically at least 12 years experience in sales within oil field equipment and services.

    Leadership:


    • May serve as a resource to others with less experience.

    Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)

    • Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
    • Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use a PC and to talk and hear
    • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds

    Problem Solving & Innovation:

    • Bring new ideas and solutions to supervisor.
    • Most assignments regularly require some problem identification and resolution.
    • Expected to identify opportunities and develop strategies, methods and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency and quality.

    Impact:


    • Actions and decisions have a limited impact on financial results in assigned area.
    • Will require time from crossfunctional groups on overall development.
