- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking; VLANs, Network Segmentation, SDWan, Routing and Switching, DNS, DHCP
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows-based operating systems and Windows Active Directory Domain Services
- Extensive knowledge of Hypervisor technologies such as Hyper-V and VMWare
- Familiarity with Hyperconverged and SAN storage solutions
- Experience with Azure environments and toolsets
- Expertise in Firewall configuration and management for common corporate brands like Sonicwall and Fortinet
- Proficient in common corporate backup solutions including Datto and Veeam
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Works independently and creatively to advance project initiatives
- Works on multiple projects concurrently prioritizing and adjusting schedules as required
- Adaptive and flexible to shifting priorities and workloads
- Acts as a trusted advisor to client business leaders for making business decisions and implementing strategic initiatives
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings beyond normal shift end time as workload requires
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for clients
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Act as a technical advisor to client business leaders and provide strategic guidance
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Document project plans, configurations, and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc., are preferred
