- At least 10 years of experience in a management position of a Steel Mill (Team Manager or higher)
- In–depth knowledge and experience with Hot Strip Mill process
- Basic understanding of heat, mass transfer, and material plasticity
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively work cross functionally with various groups
- Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations at senior management level
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Strong working knowledge of the Steel Hot Rolling Process
- Strong working knowledge of SAP applications
- Knowledge of automated control systems
- Broad technological background in hot rolling / roll shop and warehousing
- Knowledge in Metallurgy
- Strong computer skills to include SAP and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of environmental protection
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and implement improvement initiatives that increase business value
