Position Summary
- The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for supporting the critical tasks of the Payroll Department, including the processing of three payrolls: 1 Biweekly, & 2 Monthly
- The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the following:
- Garnishments
- Account analysis
- Reconciliations
- Answering W2 questions and sending off copies
- Answering payroll related questions.
- Sending reminders to Supervisors or students about timesheet deadlines
The Payroll Administrator reports to the Director of Payroll. This is a full-time, at-will, exempt position. The position is hybrid and reports to the Chicago campus 3 days per week.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Ability to reconcile payroll transactions
- Ability to process payroll timecards
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Banner experience preferred.
- Payroll processing experience with ADP systems preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of federal and state withholding requirements preferred.
Equipment Operated
- Basic office equipment (desktop computer, copier/multifunction device, printer, fax and telephone).
Working Conditions
- No
- Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Moderate level of stress.
