Medicare Sales Coordinator
Health Care Flint, , Michigan Contract To Hire Nov 30, 2021 **Position Overview:**
Responsible for daily sales and agent support for the Medicare Advantage product line for assigned state, Michigan or Indiana. Maintain Broker360 agent onboarding, lead management, sales and marketing reports. Assist in the development and ongoing administration of agent and agency relationships for the purpose of sales support and membership growth.
Responsible for the distribution of Medicare Advantage selling activities by reviewing reports including marketing, sales closing, or other reports as requested by Sales Manager, Medicare Advantage. Reports include direct sales opportunities via market research, telemarketing, written communication, McLarens Agent/Broker pipeline, and other sales distribution channels. Responsible for day-to-day monitoring activities of call center, sales prospecting, and assisting sales force. Utilizes statistical analysis to assist Sales Manager with distribution and monitoring of lead disposition in their assigned state.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain information in Broker360 agent onboarding, lead management, and online sales portal. Manage vendor relationship to ensure functionality and overall system performance.
Maintain and manage leads generated from marketing campaign through established distribution criteria and tracking protocols.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting of Medicare Advantage sales activities business toward attainment of targeted sales goals.
Coordinate onboarding process for agents, agencies, and field marketing organizations.
Coordinate meetings and training as necessary for internal and external parties.
Provide administrative support to sales team, agents and FMOs.
Maintain and manage leads generated from marketing campaign through established distribution criteria and tracking protocols. Provide weekly lead generation reports to management.
Assist with the development, measurement, and monitoring of all levels of agent relationships.
Coordinate day to day operational processes of all agent channel levels, including event management.
Oversees enrollment activities of new enrollees to assure a smooth transition into the plan.
Assists in development and implementation strategies to promote MIG and the Plan to eligible Medicare Advantage members and the general public in all market regions.
Assists in development and implementation of the Plans communication plan, both internal and external.
Keeps informed about Medicare Marketing Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Actively promotes and educates customers regarding the Plans value proposition.
Promotes positive internal and external relations by actively seeking and being responsive to customer feedback. Ability to support and participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
Supports leadership in the preparation of presentations and the writing of proposals, including responses to Request for Proposal (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs).
Other duties as assigned or when necessary to maintain efficient operations of the department and the Company as a whole.
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
Associate Degree in business, health care or related field.
Three (3) years sales support/customer service or marketing experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
Successfully become licensed as a Resident Agent for life and health within one year in position and maintain current licensure;
Must have use of personal vehicle for travel.
**Preferred:**
Five (5) years experience in a sales or support role for Medicare product lines.
Agent experience in the health insurance market and Medicare products
Proved skills using Customer Relationship Management system or sales tracking system.
