Job Description Job Description Cost Estimation Team LeadRemoteGrant Leading Technology (GLT) is looking for an experienced Cost Estimation Team Lead to provide expert planning and acquisitions cost analysis services for our clients.

In this role, the candidate will lead a team of cost estimators and schedulers in gathering customer requirements, conducting research and analysis to create comprehensive total cost for procuring and installing those requirements.

An in-depth understanding of federal acquisition processes is required, FAA acquisitions is a plus.

Duties will be completed remotely (work from home), and hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm EST.

In addition, will be responsible for the following:

Organize and lead initiatives through the acquisition decision processPerform a wide variety of cost analysis and estimation for commercial and government clients in the aviation industry in support of acquisition programsProvide analytical solutions, including development of program life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), alternative analyses, economic analysis, and other business case documentationPerform data collection and analysis, life cycle cost estimating, model development, cost risk analysis, affordability assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and other technical analyses as neededContribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships, work closely with stakeholdersPrepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documentsIdentify acquisition and execution costs for design, construction, and furniture requirements using known and unknown basis of estimatesDevelop basis of estimates and standard framework documents for cost estimating policy for previously unknown or undocumented costsDevelop Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) and Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE)Resolve discrepancies between estimates and actual proposalsMaintain cost database by entering and backing up dataDevelop cost estimating plans that serve as requirements planning documentation for government lease acquisition.

Read and analyze documentation and blueprints in order to give accurate material, cost, time and labor estimatesPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelors degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, math, engineering, or operations researchMust be able to perform Monte Carlo SimulationsMust have knowledge and expertise using RS MeansExperience in cost analysis and proficiency in use of cost estimating and risk tools such as ACEIT, SEER-SEM, @RISK and Crystal BallExperience in performing Initial Investment Decision and Final Investment Decision estimatesProven experience managing construction projects, manufacturing product or other services to determine the cost estimate for bidding or service in these or other areas.
