    An internal teammate has been identified as a preferred candidate for this role. In this case, all internal applicants will be notified of the decision. As the Export Operations Team Leader, you will have multiple direct reports and will be responsible to oversee, report on, and manage multiple export programs. You will have specific responsibility for managing purchase orders and logistics associated with raw material shipments to Latin America. In this highly visible role, you'll interact with many functional groups within Bridgestone. While you'll possess the skills listed below, youre first and foremost a highly organized, project-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks. This position will report to the Senior Manager of International Logistics. **Responsibilities**

    Coordinate logistics activities with foreign offices.

    Work externally with third party logistics providers

    Day to day management of transportation process and updating shipment status over multiple international programs

    Generate applicable shipping documents to fulfill country specific requirements

    Coordinating with packaging, logistics, and 3PLs for transporting shipments; ensuring all steps are followed and the shipment is not compromised.

    Responsible for tracking and understanding all costs associated with each shipment and identify areas for cost reduction.

    Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with subordinates, peers, and leaders at all levels of management

    Review program scope and propose a logistics strategy and execution plan

    Advanced quantitative analysis and development of recommendations to optimize business processes and performance.

    Develop, generate, and publish supply chain analytics and dashboards

    **Qualifications**

    5+ years of logistics/customer support experience

    3+ years of managing direct reports

    Experience with Transportation Mgt processes and systems interfaces

    Minimum 5 years' experience in working in international environments

    Strong project management skills

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, or similar discipline

    **Desired Skills**

    Familiarity with and working knowledge of SAP

    Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

    Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with program management

    Previous international logistics and/or program management skill

    Foreign language skills and/or experience living in a foreign country

    Six Sigma training experience
