Kita ToM in Vienna, VA is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as soon as possible.

This is a full-time or part-time position, with 30-39 hours per week, and is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Acting as a substitute for the management of our intercultural daycare center for 100 children aged one to school age
Staff planning, including vacation and training schedules, as well as team building and development
Designing and further developing the facility concept and working closely with the IB's social project on site
Supporting and guiding children in their play and learning, ensuring their physical wellbeing and personal development
Conducting parent meetings, coordinating parent assemblies, and planning events and celebrations
Participating in regional and national professional circles, management meetings, and training sessions
Contributing to the public relations of the daycare center and collaborating with institutions and committees

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Pedagogy or Social Work
Alternatively, a staterecognized educator with relevant professional experience, particularly in the field of social management or daycare center management
Experience in intercultural work and a passion for designing and implementing projects
Indepth knowledge of current daycare laws and child protection
Leadership skills, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
