    Description

    A growing print and packaging company located in the western suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Purchasing Manager with a proven track record of supporting a growing, fast-paced organization.

    This position will manage the purchasing department, develop and execute a plan to support the organization's purchasing needs.

    Key duties include:

    Leading all aspects of supply chain

    Working with new and current suppliers in maintaining relationships

    Sourcing new Suppliers and Negotiating with suppliers to gain best terms

    Developing and implementing a supplier scorecard to ensure best price and quality

    Visiting key suppliers to ensure compliance with our objectives

    Working with leadership to meet KPIs on cost savings and supplier expansion / reduction

    Requirements include:

    • 3+ years' experience in sourcing and negotiations
    • Proven track record of cost savings
    • ERP experience (MS Dynamics is a plus)
    • Packaging experience is a plus
