The DOP, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU) and Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) has an opening for a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician with the Pediatric Mental Health Institute (PMHI) Pediatric Eating Disorders Specialty Clinic at CHCO.
Please note this is an open-rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below.
Nature of WorkThis position is primarily responsible for direct patient care of children and adolescents with eating disorders and their families.
This includes diagnostic assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for youth and their families in the Eating Disorders Specialty Clinic at the Anschutz Medical Campus and/or at one of the CHCO Networks of Care.
Experience with Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are preferred.
There will be opportunities to work with youth and families with other psychiatric concerns in the general outpatient psychiatry clinic as well.
Although there may be opportunities to engage in training, supervision, and/or scholarship, this role is considered a Clinical Only position.
