Duties

You will serve as a Telecommunications Manager in Command Staff Functions (N00) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Hampton Roads Detachment Cutler, Maine.
You will serve as the Activity Head (Technical Director) and be responsible for oversight of all operations, maintenance and administration of the site and its workforce.
You will direct and manage the civilian workforce that supports the operations and maintenance of the transmission Deck and the power plant, either directly, or through subordinate superiors.
You will issue plans, provide instructions, prioritize tasks, and determine staffing levels for work completion.
You will ensure compliance with program requirements, perform site inspections, identify discrepancies, and take remedial action to ensure compliance.
You will schedule and execute communications drills in conformance with Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence exercises, regulations, and instructions.
You will consult with engineers, contractors, and program officials to troubleshoot configuration or system design inadequacies/ problems/ issues impacting site operations and maintenance.
You will perform technical research and analysis, draft and evaluate design objectives, perform technical calculations, and identify the most cost efficient procedure for project performance.
You will oversee supply accounts, publication control, and civilian time and attendance.
