    Working at SambaNova

    SambaNova Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineering Contractor to drive production and custom rack builds.

    This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI and the value it can unlock across every aspect of an organization's business and operations. This job opens pathways for high growth but requires a learning mindset. You will be here to support the core of our physical computational and cloud resources.

    Job Type: Contract

    Duration: 3-6 months with the possibility of renewal, depending on circumstances

    Schedule: 40 hours per week. Flexible 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm Pacific Time, with occasional overtime, depending on circumstances

    Work setting: In-person, in Palo Alto office, or remote from a Bay Area location

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Drive production and custom rack builds as needed
    • Execute test content provided by engineering team
    • Achieve and maintain expected productivity levels with minimal supervision

    Basic Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelors degree in CS, EE, CE
    • 5+ years of industry experience

    Additional Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Programming experience: Python, C, Perl/ TK, C-Shell, B-shell, Tcsh, Tcl, robot framework
    • Operating systems experience: Unix, Linux, VXworks, Fedora, red hat, Novell,LINUX BSD, Centos, Ubuntu
    • Protocols experience: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, ARP, RARP, ICMP, SNMP, BOOTP, DHCP, PXE, HTTP
    • TCP/IP Applications experience: FTP, TFTP, TELNET, SSH, DNS, NFS, RPC, NMAP, TCPDUMP, WIRESHARK
    • Architecture and implementation experience: System-on-a-Chip (SOC)
    • Experience in server / PC architecture, busses, USB devices, i2c, memory interfaces, PCI, PCIe, Sata, eSata, SAS, video cards, temperature sensors, NAS, NVME

    Annual Salary Range and Level:

    The base wage for this position ranges from $67.00 per hour to $77.00 per hour. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the wage target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

    The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. This opportunity is a contract role of 3-6 months with the possibility of extension.
