    Description

    Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Global Director of Engineering. Located south of Cleveland, our client is a leading manufacturer of engineered products for several industries, including Material Handling, Aerospace, and Automotive. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Director of Engineering to join their dynamic team. As a Global Engineering Director, you will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies to meet customer demands and propel sales growth.     Global Director of Engineering Responsibilities:

    • Become the company expert on assigned product customers, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
    • Drive growth and innovation initiatives, including spearheading New Product Development (NPD) efforts.
    • Formulate and implement engineering strategies to support organic growth.
    • Lead Research & Development (R&D) and Engineering teams to continuously evolve product offerings.
    • Foster global collaboration to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.
    • Oversee Product Management activities, from conception to market positioning.
    • Forge strategic partnerships with sales and marketing teams to optimize product adoption.
    • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to gauge product success.
    • Develop and refine New Product Development (NPD) strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.

    Global Director of Engineering Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and product management.
    • Product and market knowledge in braking systems for commercial and industrial applications OR expertise in off-highway sectors.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
