St. Joseph is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3-year apprenticeship program as an IT system electronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH in Cottbus. The first two years of the program will take place at the maintenance workshop in Wittenberge, with practical training in Cottbus starting in the third year. The vocational school is located in Teltow. After completing the program, you will have the opportunity to be hired in Cottbus. We will assist you in finding housing in Wittenberge and provide financial support for your rent.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:

You will become familiar with various IT systems inside and outside of our trains
Your responsibilities will include the train control system, passenger information system, and video surveillance
You will perform maintenance and modernization tasks in the areas of train information systems, data traffic, and network expansion (hardware)
You will analyze and troubleshoot any malfunctions
