Barclays Internal Audit Quality Assurance Vice President

As a Barclays Internal Audit Quality Assurance Vice President (VP), you will be accountable for assisting the BIA Head of QA in assessing the quality of BIA's assurance and operational practices with Barclays Group and BIA policies, methodology, and/or procedures, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and regulatory requirements.

This is primarily done via the execution of reviews of audit products and workpapers.

Salary/ Rate Minimum:
$150,000

Salary/ Rate Maximum:
$210,000

What will you be doing?

Determining and targeting areas of risk and contributing to the development of a riskbased QA plan
Reviewing completed and inprogress audits performed by the BIA audit delivery teams against audit methodology requirements to assess audit quality
Communicating QA results and recommendations clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
Working and developing relationships with stakeholders to develop quality initiatives and action plans to monitor performance, improve business areas, and govern operations
Providing expert advise on BIA methodology, audit risk, and regulator expectations of internal audit functions
Delivering QA key messages to a wide audience of colleagues and checking and challenging proposals for changes to BIA audit methodology
Providing complete, accurate, and timely information for QA reporting

What we're looking for:

Written and verbal communication skills demonstrating a collaborative approach across a range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues
Expert understanding of audit methodology, and risk and control
Broad knowledge of internal auditing practices, standards, and regulations
Proven team player, supporting colleagues to achieve team objectives and critical thinking

Skills that will help you in the role:

Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue.

This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
