    Description


    Credit Operations SpecialistHenderson, NVAs a Barclays Credit Operations Specialist, you will accurately review new applications to identify potential credit/fraud risk and make judgmental lending decisions to approve applications while minimizing credit and fraud losses.

    This is also an exciting opportunity for you to provide quality service to all customers (both internal and external).


    Salary/ Rate Minimum:
    $46,800Salary/ Rate Maximum:
    $50,000The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

    What will you be doing?

    • Being responsible for judgmentally decisioning new credit card applications using Barclay's lending philosophy
    • Assessing credit/fraud risk on each application they decision
    • Making outbound calls as necessary to develop additional information to facilitate final disposition of applications
    • Processing inbound calls from customers and/or other Barclay's associates
    • Meeting performance standards set by the department consistently
    • Contributing ideas and recommendations for process improvements to the department or company
    • Being responsible for working on management approved projects that will improve efficiency
    Identifying trends/issues on a daily basis and bring to the attention of the management staffWhat we're looking for:

    • Excellent written skills (spelling, logical thought processes and sentence construction, appropriate word choice)
    • Exceptionally customer-focused; with a positive, professional attitude and great interpersonal skills
    Intelligent, self-motivated, quick learner and detail orientedSkills that will help you in the role:

    • College level education preferred
