Description

Join a small yet impactful environmental innovation department as a Data Analyst within a globally recognized consumer device company based in the Bay Area. The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) organization, specifically the Supplier Carbon Solutions (SCS) team, is dedicated to achieving the company's ambitious environmental goals, including a 2030 commitment to carbon neutrality. In this role, you will manage and enhance the process of collecting and analyzing greenhouse gas emissions data from our suppliers, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of environmental reporting.

Responsibilities:

Manage the collection, analysis, and verification of greenhouse gas emissions data from suppliers.
Engage actively with suppliers to rectify and update data submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Address and resolve discrepancies and issues related to data quality or supplier compliance.
Develop and maintain complex data sets in Excel, ensuring clean and accurate data for analysis.
Prepare detailed reports and updates on environmental impact assessments and supplier performance.
Document processes and data flows to enhance transparency and accuracy in environmental reporting.
Coordinate with other ESCI teams to identify and implement process improvements across reporting and data management systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop tools that support effective supply chain data management.

Required Skillset:

1-3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Familiarity with SQL and Tableau.
Ability to manage large volumes of data and navigate complex data-related challenges.
Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
Capable of proactive problem-solving and critical thinking in ambiguous situations.
Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and adapt within a dynamic operational environment.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Bonus Skillset:

Experience with CRM management.
Project management capabilities
Passionate about environmental sustainability and green technology.
