    Description
    Value Add Services Team Lead

    Objective:
    The primary purpose of this position is to lookat the area of Cut to Length (CTL) of Logistics and find opportunities with theproducts that we cut to add more value to the product before it leaves to gothe customer. Along with products that we already sell, will look at newproducts that the Fuel Team would like to bring in and add them to the CTLareas. Present opportunities for teamers to elevate their level of success inareas where they are not as strong to increase theirs and ADC's RCA.

    Responsibilities:
    • Understand and follow the business constructs of ADC
    • Collaborate with the Fuel team to develop a strategic framework for growing the Cut to Length area
    • Work closely with the Fuel team and Logistics team to strategically grow the resources needed for a self-sustaining Value Add Service Center
    • Research and work with other team members implementing equipment needed to automate at least 75% of the tasks in the area and work on automating 100%
    • Obtain cost estimates and design calculations for budgeting and approval for equipment
    • Exercise high judgment and drive cross-functional alignment between the business, vendors, internal stakeholder teams to set and achieve our vision for the program
    • Work with Team members and other stakeholders to identify and develop new business ideas, products, and services
    • Engage in problem solving, both individually and as part of the team
    • Maintain a safe work environment, following company health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
    • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
    • Present opportunities for teamers to elevate their level of success in areas where they are not as strong to help ADC
    • Understand the customers' needs and the applicable nature of the product to maximize possible sales and profitability
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments to leverage innovation and maintain and create our competitive edge
    • Maintain housekeeping in areas of assigned responsibility to
    Qualifications:
    • Requires Associates degree in Business and 2 years of experience OR at least 5 years of experience in Business
    • Operations and new products to market
    • Bachelor of Science degree, Engineering preferred
      Requires at least 3 years' experience in process changes and implementation
    • Requires strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to identify and evaluate new opportunities
    • Requires above average Computer Skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
    • Requires strong communication skills, oral, written, and active listening
    • Requires understanding of financial aspects or budgeting, cash flow management and profitability
    • Requires results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction
    • Requires excellent Organizational Skills
    • Requires strong analytical & problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions with a team.
    • Proven experience as an entrepreneur with a successful track record in business a plus
    • Experience understanding and working in Business Systems a plus
    • Familiarity with SCRUM and or 4 Disciplines of Execution framework a plus
    • Experience documenting procedures and developing associated training a plus
