Asset Management Team Lead will provide all Asset Management support services for the OIT ITFS Mobile & Desktop Technologies Branch by supporting the OIT Asset Management IT Property Management and Stock Management task areas.

HQ OIT is responsible for an inventory of approximately 13,000+ accountable assets including Government credentials.

These assets are currently distributed across seven (7) Government sites and more than thirty (30) Contractor sites within the National Capital Area and four (4) remote sites.

OIT Asset Management handles IT equipment delivered under orders placed on the various USCIS IT equipment procurement vehicles, from transfers from other USCIS offices, from purchase card transactions and occasionally from other additional IT equipment acquisition contracts.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily tasks of team members and tasks assigned by client
  • Oversee attendance and schedule adherence
  • Idenitify and correct resource gaps
  • Host weekly scrum meetings (Monday/Friday) with internal team and client
  • Assign and delegate work between team members
  • Review and confirm ASN
  • Provide guidance to team members regarding their tasks
  • Parcel issues
  • Scanning issues
  • Daily Mail check
  • Provide weekly reports (inventory, in transit) to the client
  • Weekly report for Team
  • Monthly report for the Team
  • Provide feedback on overall Team Evaluations each quarter
  • Manage task schedule for the team
  • Disseminate and communicate information on behalf of the Project Manager and other key stakeholders
  • Mitigate discrepancies sent by the Section Chief or Government Team Leads
  • PIV control
  • Review leave requests
  • Process ECN request
  • Review Service Ticket
  • Pull Assets from the stock room
  • Verify credentials and tag information
  • Issue or Request Shipping labels
  • Review and validate items that need to be submitted to SAMS to the Stock Manager
  • Annual Inventory Scanning
  • Includes Division areas, Offices within the building and conference areas.
  • Provide documentation of inventory and hand receipts counts to the Inventory Manager
  • Update SAMS with appropriate documentation, username, steward code
  • Accept transfers incoming and outgoing as needed

Requirements:


  • Hybrid 4 days per week in the office / 1day at home
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully obtain DHS Public Trust.
5+ years leading Asset Management programs

  • Experience with Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS)
  • Proven record of successfully managing assets, in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience in team management, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with relevant DHS regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
