Remote, consulting, pricing configuration analyst opportunity

Our client is looking to add a Senior Pricing Configuration Analyst to join their team for a 3-month long contracting position.

This is a fully remote position, starting in early January.

I provided the position description below.

Position Description:
Anticipated Start Date 1/08/2024- 4/8/2024 or Longer.

CST Hours are Preferred

The Senior Configuration Analyst:
·

Obtains and analyzes the internal workflow, setup and design of the software applications.
·

Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives, creates documentation to describe program development, benefit logic, medical coding, work instructions and corrections.

Develops a deep understanding of the system capabilities and evaluate requirements to determine configuration design to assure company objectives are met.

·

Provide analysis and documentation that supports configuration management, design, requirements traceability, and audits controls needed to meet state and federal regulatory requirements
·

The client is adding new PBMs in 2024. As such, will setup pharmacy benefits, networks, and pricing for Employers, ACA, Med Supp, Med Adv (starting in 2024)
·

Set up new products.
·

Testing and documentation of new product configuration
·

Raise potential issues
·

Client will upgrade Health Rules Payor in early 2024 and is facing 9 new releases to upgrade.

Position Requirements
·

Healthcare insurance experience (PBMs, Medicare Advantage regulations)
·

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
·

Minimum of 5 years' configuration experience (pricing experience preferred)
·

2+ years' experience in HealthRules configuration
·

Must have experience with Pricing module in HRP
·

HRP upgrade experience preferred, not required
