Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. This is a dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Set up and maintain computer networks, including LAN and firewall configurations
- Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex issues when necessary
- Document all support activities and resolutions in ticketing system (e.g., Jira)
- Ensure timely resolution of technical problems to minimize downtime for clients
- Train clients on the proper use of hardware, software, and systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Familiarity with help desk software (e.g., Jira) and remote desktop tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical users
- Outstanding customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach
