- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing specialty medications, including sterile pounding when necessary.
- Process prescriptions and enter patient information into the pharmacy system.
- Perform medication inventory management and ordering to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Handle prior authorizations, insurance verifications, and billing inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow efficiency and patient care.
- Provide outstanding customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Active California pharmacy technician license.
- Previous experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and insurance billing.
