- Provide overnight assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting, grooming, and dressing, as needed.
- Monitor and assist clients with nighttime routines, such as medication reminders and personal hygiene.
- Remain alert and attentive to any changes in client condition or needs throughout the night.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for clients during overnight hours.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients who may experience anxiety or difficulty sleeping.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Document care provided and communicate any observations or concerns to the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
