    Description

    Role Overview:
    Encora is looking for an experienced Sr Business Analyst to join our digital marketing team.

    This is a global role that will be responsible for analyzing our Consumer Growth Marketing acquisition and Retention Business including but not limited to digital channel performance, channel forecasting, leading root cause analysis, and more.

    You will be providing cross-department marketing insights to influence media systems, strategy, creative and content teams. You will build and execute internal measurement and reporting processes and be responsible for implementing business results dashboards. This is a high visibility role working closely with sales, finance, and business leaders.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital marketing, B2C analytics, experience modelling A/B test results, understanding of LTV and defining LTV models and a passion for finding and applying real insights from data to build a business.

    This role will report to the head of customer insights and analytics.

    About the Role:


    Work closely with global business leads helping them with business strategy discussions aiding with timely important insights on customer journey and intelligence on key business metrics performance.

    Perform data analysis across all applicable marketing technologies, and communicate insights and recommendations based on findings
    Synthesize data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to communicate insight and opportunity internally & externally
    Build analysis, data visualizations, and reporting that provides key insights required for decision making in the organization
    Facilitate the analytical needs of the business, collaborate in the design of diagnostic solutions, developing experimentation backlog based on opportunity ranking and deliver exceptional data products and insights
    Translate business functional requirements into technical specifications for data and reporting teams and, conversely, technical approaches into easily digestible insights

    Collaborate with the digital marketers to build time series, seasonality and forecasting models on demand and when required playing data science role.

    Develop processes and protocols for data monitoring, hygiene (e.g, validation), and other strategies that help uncover gaps and opportunities to optimize the business
    Willingness to learn new skills and conduct cross-training sessions with team about new tools and techniques for mining customer insights

    Experienced to be able to interpret and use data science models, interpret analytical results, draw conclusions about findings and capable of story telling your findings.

    Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement


    About You:


    Demonstrated successful track record of transforming data trends into useful customer insights business can use to drive data driven strategy and customer experience.

    Proven professional experience in a digital role working with data, excels, business models, ideally as part of a marketing team.

    Experience working in Digital, Traditional and B2C Marketing teams.
    Working knowledge of PowerBI, Azure, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.
    Superior Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and PowerPoint skills are a must
    Good understanding and basic skills in SQL.
    Experience with Tableau, Power BI or any visualization tool skill is preferred.
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or similar analytical field or similar level of work experience is required
    An attention to detail and organization, balanced with a comfort in operating through chaos and ambiguity

    Not necessary, but familiarity or interest in ever-growing Internet technologies, current online trends, and marketing tactics (Search, Social, SEO, Email, etc) would be great.

    Ability to structure / work on exploratory problems, with innovating approach and creative solutions
    Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
    Strong business sense and strategic thinking
    Ability to build and present evidence-based stories
    Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Flexibility to changing priorities and timelines is key
    Self-starter with an inquisitive personality who constantly enjoy trying new things
