    Job Description

    Position Overview: The Application Specialist, under the supervision of the Application Support Manager, is a key member of the team responsible for supporting various business applications like Office 365, OneDrive, Adobe, Box, and Zoom. This role involves becoming a go-to technical resource for these applications, understanding their technical processes inside out, and collaborating closely with IT staff and vendors when needed. The focus is on providing hands-on support and engineering solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Healthcare sector.



    Position Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Take care of day-to-day maintenance of assigned applications, offering tier 1 and tier 2 support, troubleshooting and resolving issues, coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams, and ensuring smooth operations
    • Configure, maintain, and support collaboration platforms like Zoom, O365, Teams, Adobe, and Box. Experience in data migration from Box to other platforms like OneDrive would be beneficial
    • Administer collaboration solutions while meeting institutional requirements and enhancing productivity and efficiency through new tools and technologies
    • Evaluate and recommend new collaboration technologies, manage user accounts, permissions, and system performance, and provide end-user support
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand collaboration needs, troubleshoot Zoom meeting issues, and assist in organizing virtual events using Teams and Zoom
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, monitor system performance, and manage access control to guarantee security and data integrity

    Position Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in administering collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Box, Zoom, and more
    • Proficiency in collaboration software, IT security, and compliance policies, with hands-on experience in Cloud-based applications being a plus
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and within a team, handle pressure, multitask, and work proactively
