    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    Blazerjobs is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for an extended school year assignment in Wallingford, PA. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
    • Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
    • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
    • municate regularly with parents and caregivers to discuss student goals, progress, and strategies for support

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (PA certification preferred)
    • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral challenges
    • Strong munication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student
